Nubians are the ancestors of the modern day people of Sudan. Ancient Nubia is located in the northeast of Africa. The Nubians used agriculture as there way of life along the Nile river Valley. Many Nubians lived a nomadic lifestyle. Nomadic tribes of Nubians were primarily located in the western parts of Sudan, while the others lived in the eastern side. Nubia was divided into 3 regions, upper Nubia, lower Nubia, and southern nubia. Upper and southern Nubia is located in modern day Sudan, lower Nubia is in modern day Egypt. Anouther name for Nubia is Kush.
